Terms and conditions of Service

All AN standing rules regarding uplifting passengers with medical difficulty apply.

This service is available ONLY to children between the ages of 5 and 16years.    Children under 5years will not be accepted and must be accompanied by someone aged 16 years and over.

Parent/ guardian will need to follow the standard procedures regarding check in, having properly secured the luggage before handing child over to AN staff.

AN will only accept the children from the parent/ guardian a minimum of 1hour before flight departure.

Parents/ guardians MUST remain in the airport and within easy reach until the flight has fully departed i.e. taken-off (this is in case the flight departure should get majorly delayed or cancelled).

The person assigned to collect the child on arrival MUST be At the Airport by or before the scheduled arrival time of the flight.

Service is available ONLY for point to point travels i.e. single-leg travels, and not for travel itinery with connections i.e. multiple-leg travels.

Children are not allowed to smoke whilst in Air Nigeria care, even if of age or older.

Children are responsible for taking care of their own documents and Air Nigeria staff will not assume responsibility for travel documents.

The child/children must be met on arrival at the destination airport by the correct person specified in the UNMR booklet.

The adult collecting the child at their final destination must have the necessary photographic identification to show before the child is released into their care.

We cannot accept children who are flying on a standby basis

For safety & security reasons, Air Nigeria has the right to refuse travel if the applicable form (UNMR booklet) is not fully and satisfactorily completed and signed by the parent or guardian.
